Am i missing something? I presume it must be..... quartz.

If is manual.... every day got to climb the wall to wind unless got 8 days power reserve.
If is auto..... then every day must shake the clock.

Yes, it is pricey. That's why I didn't buy it on the day when the Panerai sales advisor showed me the clock. But it was a case of love at first sight. I couldn't stop thinking of the beautiful clock so I went back to get it. Some info for those who are keen.
