I have seen very very identical clear back replica, even with the Officine Panerai engraving. Best is send for authentication but JW is shifting their current shop and they will be closed during the shift.

My question is purely out of my curiosity, Thanks

Having one myself and also having seen the high-end replicas, I always thought the dead give-away was the way the crown turns. The fake has this springy feel about it i.e. it seems to jump back a fraction after you give it a wind. Whereas the real ones stop wherever you stop winding. Anyone feels the same?

It is just frustating...
Meanwhile observe it over the weekend to see the pattern of the problem.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

The reason why I said observe the pattern is that sometimes the hand(s) could be stuck at certain position.
if the mintue hand don't move at all after some time but both second hand and the movement seen from the back shows that the watch is ticking, pull out the crown to adjust the min/hr hands to another position to see if it would start moving.
It would be better if you could explain the exact problem/pattern when you send in the watch to richemont, though you don't have to prove to them on the spot that the watch is faulty (they are supposed to do a check).Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one
