Reliable in what way? As far as I know, I haven't heard anything negative about the company. Though, I have not patronized them before. I do have friends who had gone to them for verification service, changing of straps, resizing of bracelets.

Hi all, first post here. Just wondering if some sort of certification will be given after authenticating at shops like Top Hour or JW?

dont think they will provide. it was the same thing with rolex where they will not issue a authentication certificate.

rolex just issue a receipt stating service fee 107 which is as good as what some people will accept.

honestly, for authentication, it only holds true at the point when it is done.

after which, it does hold because anything can be done to the watch which the original company/person who does the authentication will not want to be liable for, hence no certification will be issued.

Thanks for the response, good point there! I might just go down to Tophour to get mine authenticated for a peace of mind, regardless of certification or not. Wonder if they still charge $40, based on a bro’s reply to this thread 2 years ago.

they charged me $50 just 2 weeks back..!!

any shop recommend to authenticate newer models like pam01000 on the spot?
btw how they authenticate visual check of the outside only ?
