No, it's not worth to buy something you don't like.

        Congrats! Pam are so nice

Do Singapore richemont service centre sell the orginal leather and rubber straps if the watch was from oversea.
Believe they not doing verifying anymore, been thinking to buy a secondhand pam.

Yes, the Richemont SC sells those straps. Yes too, they are no longer providing authentication services on those watch brands they carry.

hahaa i bought mine in Lucerne (shop name: Embassy) in end of FEB but stock only came this month so i have the help of my tour guide to bring it back for me this time round...i paid fully on the day as i fear price hike and luckily i did that as the price this month is ~300CHF higher...

the price you see is the new list price over there...they adsorbed the increase for me as i have already paid before hand...
I am really loving it...more than my subC at the moment haha

I am loving the strap also!! soft yet sturdy!! with nice leather smell =X..

Thank you all!! haha This pics is for Oceanklassik hahaha Hope to see you with a PAM soon!

You "died" many times already by now

A seasoned collector from this forum once told me : "get a base, PAM is about the look only". He owned many expensive PAMs but eventually sold most of them. This may not work for everybody but I think it works for you.

By the way he collects many brands not just PAMs.

How consoling you are, my friend. Yes, like a "disease" most of us have, I'm 'itching' (again) for a PAM now

Prob is, I will need to sell one/two watches to buy one new PAM. And which PAM model is it now . I really don't know. Friends told me this Chinese proverb "good horse don't eat passed by grass" (pardon my poor translation). So I'm still thinking lor ..

If you buy a model that you never had before, then it's not considered "passed by grass" lor, hehe...

I was looking at the 390. Something diff yet base-looking, but when I learnt of the price, I fainted in the shop for a good 2 mins . Then recently, saw the 432 (S'pore model or something) ... . But yet to know the price. Is there any other PAM model(s) that look like the 390/432 and that don't cost "hand-and-leg" ah? Still prefer brand new piece for a PAM.

I still think PAMs are among the least (if not the least) value-for-money watches. However this brand offers such handsome and unique design that there is nothing quite like it (apart from the homages) - you just have to have at least one in your collection.

Which is why after many rounds of buy-sells, I still keep a 112 (I am a small time watch lover so can only play the <$10k PAMs nia).

Did I mention the fun of strap-changing which is also "uniquely PAM" (that others try to copy)?
