Some quries,need help.....

hi gd day to all,

I have some quries on my watch hope some can help to clear my quries.TIA

I own a pam 312,due to my job nature,i only wear my 312 on weekends.So usually if i wear my pam this weekend,on next weekend when i wanna wear again the watch already have stopped.

So my question is is it better to wind my watch everyday to keep e watch running daily?

OR

Is it ok to let it stop and whenever i wanna wear den i wind and let it run again?

Cos my concern is if i only wind whenever i wanna wear when e watch is stop,will e freq pulling out of e crown and adjusting of e hr/min hand cause damage to e watch or any mechanism easily?

This would be more of a personal choice, but from what I know, there are no issues with adjusting the time every weekend when you use it. Frequently doing it will not affect the mechanisms in normal situations.

You could spend some money to buy a winder but...I rather adjust it every wk, no point paying for the winder just to keep one watch moving.

I m no horology expert and this is my 2 cents.

I will wind the 312 every 2 x during the week since its a 3 days movement.

Setting every week will not harm either. It takes some serious setting to wear and loosen the cannon pinon (the stem that holds the hour, minute hands).

By then it's time for service.

the other thing you can do is to get a few more watches and then get a winder to justify it haha. cheers!

or use the wine fridge method. you get a huge wine fridge first. after you load all you have inside, you still have space, will naturally go buy more wines. aply same theory to watch winder lor haha

No worries winding the watch every week....it will not cause harm to the watch. They are durable and quality is good. That is why you are paying a premium:-) I wind my PAMs 3-4 times a week....enjoy the process of winding up the watch...hehe

I have the same fear when I got my first PAM. Think this is normal...after awhile...the fear will go away. Nowadays, I wind my PAMs as and when I feel like it...hahahaha

No worries! Such watches are very well-made and well-built. As long as you wind it correctly, there won't be any issues.
