Spotted a pre-owned PAM23A in Tokyo.
Would anyone pay S$11.5k for such a rare watch?
I did some read up from a website on the review of this watch....
PAM 23 GMT 44 mm numbered bezel RARE. With a crisp black dial and tritium numerals and hands, this model has a wonderful vintage look. This is an A series and the most desirable of all series of Panerai watches to Panerai collectors. You can see the T swiss T markings on the black dial. The GMT feature and sweeping second hand are easy to read and give this watch even more character. It has a historic solid case back and comes on a new OEM Panerai Calf strap. It also comes with its original rare OEM Coramid Velcro Dive strap and its original two screw A series buckle.
Unique to this model and the PAM 29 model of Panerai watches is the Explore style engraved numerals on the bezel. A great looking Panerai watch and very RARE! This model has continually gone up in value since it was introduced!
If only I strike lottery.
