Your friends haven kena the pam poison yet. If not, they will be equally dumb... if not dumber.

was reading this when Discovery Channel was showing watch maker assembly of a Blancpain Tourbillon watch.

As they say "Time is truly a luxury"

as long as you are comfortable spending your own money, why bother what others say

Manual winding is nostalgic for me...still remember my dad(God rest his soul)winding his watch every morning before he goes to work.Plus,i actually enjoy winding my 112,something manly about it....probably just me.....Full wind last me about 2 days+.

Panerai's new P3000 caliber should bring back more fun to manual winding movements with 3 days power reserve.

I used to own a 233 and winding its 8 days power reserve is very tiring. Haha

I have a PAM 410 (similar to PAM 268) and winding the 8 day power reserve is quite fun. the difference could be because you have a much better grip on the crown with the Radiomir case as compared to the PAM 233 Luminor case (with the crown guard protection).

Yup! I think the problem lies with the crown guard...
