            well tritium dials are really hard to come by, so hopefully somewhere down the road these dials will be worth something. tritium hands are the ones that are difficult to find.

            also collecting dials are cheaper than collecting the watches and takes up less space (hahahaha), just need a small box to contain all of them.

              When are you back in town my friend? Long time haven't had a drink/catchup. Got a few new interesting pieces in the collection.

                    Hm, now that you mention it, I always thought the hands on my t-dial 243 seemed different. Could they be replaced luminova hands?

                      it's possible but highly unlikely. my 243 hands and dial does patina differently. to check whether they are tritium or luminova (dial and hands), you energize them under light then you move to a dark room to observe the after glow, the tritium dial and hands should glow for a while and fade while the luminova dial and hands would continue glowing.
