Mostly contemporary models are available, not much historic model though. I'm checking if they have new stock for Pam 005, hands getting itchy...

      Pardon me for my ignorance.

If we gonna buy in Europe, are we buying it from their AD? Understand that Panerai retail will have no discount.

Even if you buy from Panerai boutique, the tax rebate and good exchange rate can be quite a bargain already...hehe

        Cheers
        Don't worry, be happy

Retail price in SG was $5950 for Pam 0 in Feb this year and now you are saying it's $7200. Wow. That is one crazy price jump.

Ya just like Singapore going Paris to buy LV..the VAT refund is already very attractive for you to buy.

Honestly speaking, Just bring cash there and if you chance upon 1 u like just buy. I've bought many watches from Europe using credit card many times before and only to find out that I've acutually paid 200-400 more then expected. credit card always charge u abt 0.1-0.2 more then current exchange plus services and will also charge exchange again when u get a refund. My advice to guys buying watches or for that matter luxury goods from overseas think twice when charging it to ur card.
                Cheers and happy hunting there

Get a Manhattan CC, charge first sgd4000 and get sgd200 rebate by next qtr, put the rest of the bill to a cash rebate / dividend card will give you another 1% discount.

One thing to take note if you going to make big ticket purchase overseas, call up ur card issuing bank before the trip and notify them.
My transaction is rejected by both Dxx and Cxxxbxxx credit card, but only the later bank call me up to verify and approve the transaction.
