Best time for watch as investments was during quartz crisis.
For Pam maybe during the early days?

          Right now prices seems stabilized.
Which one will give enough returns 20 yrs down nobody knows.

If price right I would say go for those early SE grails.
          Or even pre v.

Most SE are fetching good and stable price, I was told about their investment value on their in house series too. Well, still much depend on the market and supply.
              Current:
              Panerai 275 J series
              Rolex GMT2C M series 116710
              Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 2209.50.00
              Planning:
              Rolex Daytona WG 116509

well, if you have faith in the continued growth of Panerai's brand value in future, then might as well plonk down some serious $$ for a PreV Pam e.g. 201a, 202a
                What's in the box:
                • Patek Philippe 5726A
                • IWC Portu Chrono 3714-14
                • Panerai 187 Subzilla
                • Garmin Fenix 3

thread title says "which panerai is worth to buy investment!"

sacrifice panerai to buy investment? just 1 panerai to buy investment? how much investment you looking @?

so if include the word in your thread title it would be

"which panerai is worth to buy in investment!" i don't quite understand also. however, if you asking which panerai is worth to buy FOR investment, then my response is as follows.

i still say none. why? watches are not used for investment instruments. if watches are meant for investment, i think all our shares, bonds, etc are useless. there wont be financial institutions already, you will see many traders in watch industry.

i like Oceanklassik, seiko.citizen and illusion84 use of smileys.

also i would suggest that rather than spending time low ball sellers, why not spend some time to search and read on 2 other threads that has already been started and you would have realized that watches are not meant for investment regardless of brands.

If you meant buying for investment..my suggestion is better not try because the chances are slim that you, uncle toby will ever make it.
                          my frank opinion nia..

rather you spend the fund on something else for investment ..
