I am considering getting a PAM 00111 as my first Panerai.

Wonder has the Panerai shop at ION open.

I'd get it from the grey market / private seller if I were you. It's likely to be cheaper and more readily available.

Boutiques are more for "look see, look see" IMO.

PAM111 is a good choice
And yes, i would get it from grey market. Boutique = no discount. AD = No Stock and very little discount for the historic pams

005 painted dial, with OP logo on dial, Solid case back
111, sandwhich dial, no logo on dial, crystal caseback
movement wise, i think 1 additional swanneck regulator or similar...

At the moment.... I'm still undecided between PAM00005 (Luminor Marina Logo) or PAM00104 (Luminor Marina Automatic). The search continues...

005 hand wind no date buckle

104 auto date internal cyclops folding clasp quick change for strap

My take is 005. cleaner dial. cheaper. better resale.

I think 0 is difficult to get now... 5 may still be possible.
I think can get a 111 (Grey) for about the same price for a 5 (AD)
