Agree, it does look a bit higher. If under warranty still, better bring it back to Richemont and query them!

if they said it is within tolerance means that it is not perfect and also giving a very slip slop answer
as a customer paying so much for that watch i think more can be demanded from them

u shld have just told them straight that u arent there to ask if its within tolerence. You are there to get it rectified.
Why should you be aceepting anything less than perfection from such an expensive timepiece?
Maybe shld also ask him to define what is tolerance in Richmont's QC. Then post big big and say that Panerai allows sub standard stuff to go thru. See how they respond.

it's a big job taking out the movement, removing all the hands and dial just to get access to the date wheel. maybe that's why they do not want to do it.
