I just went there this morning to verify a panerai I am looking to buy. Was told that they do not provide verification services anymore (since Nov'10). The service staff told me I will have to send my watch in for a complete service (~S$1k) and then they will let me know if the watch is genuine during the servicing process. Left Richemont this morning dejected...haha
Are there any reputable watchshops in Singapore that can give an opinion on the authenticity of PAM watches? Thanks for sharing.
If you've done a search here, you'll have known that Richemont no longer provides this service. IIRC, it was sometime mid of last year. And yes, this includes all other brands of watches that Richemont carry. I only know that JW Watch provides authentication service at a price of $50 to $60 for PAMs. Not too sure about the rest.
Thanks Ocean. Appreciate the heads-up. Yup will head to JW and let them have a look. How about Passions? Are they reputable in verifying PAMs?
IMHO, it is quite a shame that Richemont has decided to stop providing verification services. It will only encourage more replicas and fakes to flood the market.
