  • Bought a PAM 321 at Paris Boutique

    Hi,

Was in London and make a side tour to Paris by Eurostar (train). Went to Paris Panerai boutique with the intention to buy a PAM 90 since there is no stock in SG. But ended up buying a PAM 321 instead since the last PAM 90 was being reserved :-( But no regrets. Love my newly bought PAM 321. Worn it immediately....keke.
Was also told that they do not sell the basic model like PAM 000 or PAM 005. They do not have limited edition as well. Their basic model start with PAM 111. Saw the new 2011 models which they have quite a number of pieces. But do not like the color of the numbers on the dial.
The SA was friendly and service was good. The SA even gave me a card with his email. Told me to email to him to check for stocks and make sure he is at the shop when I visit Paris again in future...LoL.

    Cheers

Me surprised too......Maybe they want to "carrot" us......hahahaha. For the limited editions, maybe they ran out of stock. If any bro/sis of ROC were to go to Paris, please check and see if it is true that they do not stock base models. Is my first time, so........

Hi guys, they do stock SEs in the Paris boutique. what you need to do however is to write to them in advanced to "order". Give them the dates you'll be in. If you are in luck, they'll have something for you and you MIGHT need to pay some deposit to reserve and pay the balance when you collect..

              Cheers

Paid around S$10,295 after tax. But it depends on the exchange rate as well. If SGD is stronger, then you will pay lesser:-) Can pass you the contact details of the SA that served me. Quite a nice chap. You can email him to check for stock and reserve the stock before you go down.

Although is around $10K++, but still cheaper in Paris by a few hundred dollars. Was told by the SA that the price difference is around 20% including the tax rebate.

SG$ is very strong now, so make sense to buy watches from overseas, especially so if there is tax refund.

if u buy watches locally in SGP, u can try asking overseas friend to get the 5.5-6% tax refund (however your friend will have to bring the watch out of SGP).

Bro, did you check whether is it cheaper if you buy in London?

Will pm you on Sat as I do not have his namecard with me. Left it at my dad's house.

Sorry bro, did not check the pricing in London as we have limited time to shop. Too many places to visit but too little time...hahaha
