  • Accuracy of your Panerai

    Hi guys

Just bought a PAM 104. Realise that after 3 days of used, the time slows for about 30 sec. Still monitoring.

    Any comments?

    cheers

My PAM 190 runs fast while the 219 is pretty spot on. I have heard from other Panerai gurus that regulation is not a strong point of theirs. A lot of them send them for service/regulation just before warranty runs out.

Any other gurus here have any comments?

the 104 is a certified chronometer......... it shd perform within -4/+6 seconds per day......

u can take a look at the cosc cert....... the actual rates for your watch are recorded ....

Yeap, I wouldn't worry at this point of time. Just like the fuel consumption of a brand new car, you need a couple of weeks before it has completed it's 'run-in' and give you a more accurate guage.

Is there a "scientific" way of measuring?

Sorry if it is a stupid question...

                  Bro ohlins,

Thanks! I initially thought you were pulling my legs, till I googled "vibrograph".

                  Thanks again for the sharing.

cannot take it. finally today bring down to Richemont today for regulation.

took the opportunity to authenticate the watch also

                      Hi,

How much did you pay for regulation? Do you know if warranty covered regulation if the watch is within a year of purchased?

Good to hear that... Going to call Richemont tomorrow. I am so scared that I need to ford out extra $$$ to service it.

                          Thanks
