One boutique will not have such significant impact to the brand awareness and demand. Agressive marketing and advertising, which richemont has embarked on for panerai, may. Just look at the full/half-page ads on the ST and Lianhe Zaobao in recent months. I wonder if that is a reflection of panerai's declining demand, or richemont's intention to increase market share...

For the limited editeds or the very-limited-stock models maybe, since the ADs usually wouldn't give discount for those. But in the first place the ADs hardly get enough stock to sell so they couldn't be bothered I guess.

More like an intergated boutique sharing among other brand own by richsmont eg. IWC,JLC, A.Lange. The cost of rental here is too high for a standalone boutique . Just my 2c
