Ever wonder why PAM 321 which only appear in the market in the recent months are of L series instead of M series?

Obviously they were being produced around the time when this model was announced during SIHH 2009? A case of Richemont screwing up its product portfolio planning and hence held back the realese of 321 to avoid cannibalization of its other models such as 320 and 90? Or why else Richemont announced a new model and then launched it almost two years later?

Are we seeing more of such thing or has Richemont learned it lesson? Honestly I never bother to keep track on the new models in this year's SIHH/Baselworld as there are already too many models/choices today. In fact I have decided to quit the queue for the 337 announced last year but yet to be available for sale.

Hi pegasi, very good point you've brought up here. You notice that others dont bother or not even realise it. //scratching me head //
you could be right, about "holding back to avoid cannibalization of its other models, specially 320"

I seriously dunno how to keep up with Pams. So many models launched every year, so many special and limited editions. It's a tiring journey...

Basically, it's all strategic marketing of the products' in OP. As they are targeting more groups/styles of buyers who have the spending powers or true lovers' for this popular brand,my 3 cents info
