can I check from the expert here, can a 233L be fully hand-wind or just like the automatic watches, unable to fully wind by hand?

Dun worry bro it won't break, for 233 they have something (dunno what it's call) to prevent over-winding of the watch , so you can wind as many times as u like .

For 233, wind until the PR reach 8 day mark and stop lor.

i think u need to wind till the indicator reaches 8, which i think its over 120 winds (from zero) ..
