It did not happen when Pam introduced P.9000 on the 233. It didn't happen when 312 batch came out. Why would it happen this time.
The ETA based Pams are plentiful and have been around a long time. Their prices are quite stable. Track 5 or 177 or 24 for the past few years and you will see.
I hardly think a 10-20% appreciation of ETA based Pams is possible. Maybe we should follow Pam 0 and 5 over the next 6 months and see how.

Oh i mean to say when the OP calibre movement is eventually discontinued (in 3 to 5 years time). In the short term the ETA based PAMs will remain the same price but numbers produced will slowly decrease. Much like the situation when Daytona discontinued the use of the Zenith movement.

With all the hot commotions on the new models again, i think price hikes and premiums are inevitable for Panerai...
So many interesting models and so many i like, but the expected premiums on the watches just started to fade away my hopes of getting even one 2011 models.
