panerai dot or no dot dial

I seen some bros selling pam233 dot dial, feel bad to ask this questions here so google search myself and learned the difference.

DOT means the 24 hours shows day with a white dot like a full moon and night black dot, half moon is transition from day to night or vice versa.

AM/PM shows the 24 hours am if morning and pm in afternoon.
So my only questions are ...If transition between day to night how? will the AM/PM show half? isn't that looks awkward?
Any bros can explain ? TIA

The so call DOT dial only comes 1st series and no longer exist, new version all comes AM/PM so does this make the DOT more exclusive and rare? I see the market demand and the price for these DOT dials going upwards at Paneristi forum.

So may i know how the AM/PM change during day to night and vice versa
Does it change or it does not move at all? I mean the AM/PM is always stationary?

for the PAM233L, the am/pm markers on the dial does not change or move... in place of the dot, there is a third hour hand (24 hour indicator) on the seconds counter... information easily available here...
