when this method is used on the buckle, and when the buckle experience abrasions, willl it reveal the shiny silver metal beneath it? something similar when a PVD buckle experience abrasion??

once it reached the colour above, but you still continue heating it, will it turn to a darker black?

I wore the buckle for a few days now. No scratches for normal use. But I haven't tried to scratch it with a tool on purpose.

If you repeat the heating cycle, it will get darker and darker. Stop heating when you get the darkness you want.

You can actually get a high ouput gas torch which is easily available in DIY stores or ebay

Which can easily achieve 1350°C flame temperature should be able to get the job done nicely.

Hehehe..the standard specs are either polished/brushed/PVD..butI wanted something different so I asked him for a torched one...works like a charm with the special tanning

may be you can provide the named of DIY shop or provision that does this?

Home fix shld have it. Go to yellow pages or google singapore to search for location of home fix branch in singapore.
Just an advise pls take safe precaution before u plan to torch yur buckle, dun want u to burn down yur house.
Try at yur own risk.
