  • DIY strap change on pam

    anyone here knows how to change strap on pam5?

    went to youtube to have a look...cant find an videos on pam 5
    only found videos on changing strap for pam 233

    does the changing of strap on pam 5 work the same way as 233?

    Use the screw-driver, unscrew the two pins, take out the pins, change the straps, screw the pins back.

      As a safety measure you might want to use scotch tape on the screw area to prevent screwdriver slips and scratches...

        For luminor, steady hands and good lighting should be ok. For radiomir, I strongly advise some protective measures like using scotch tape. When doing rad, I could see my hands literally shaking. Have scratched the screw area of rad more ran once. Luminor easy. Actually found it even easier than quick changing system on 233.

            Stick it around the screw holes. In case you miss, won't scratch the case.

              I put the tape for all (except the ones with the newer quick release). I don't trust myself ESP with the PVD!! Plus my hand is so not steady..hehehe

                Right on, how can we trust our own hands since we do made mistakes. Just take your time and be patient.

                  if i am not conffident in changing the straps of my 312, can i go to any shop e.g., Hobbylink, and request FOC help?

                    At 1st i aslo can't figure out and i went youtube and see the manual book. It as easy as ABC. If you want i can meet up with ya at enous MRT and show you how.
