  • Panerai Box Tool (Black buckle removal tool)

    Hi All,

Any advice on where can I get a spare "Black" tool for strap removal.

I accidently broke off the tip on one side.

    Thanks.

You can buy it from Richemont Service Center. I think it costs $30 for the strap removal tool.

A better way is to use the soft wood or bamboo toothpicks. They are cheap and will not scratch the case. Plus it amazes many people how easy it is to change strap with this system.

Here are the 2 types of quick change strap tool from Panerai, $35 each. The top one with the fatter tapered tip is made of plastic and the bottom one with the thinner tip is made of metal.

I believe you can sometimes call up the larger ADs and they will send you out one, free of charge.

                    Hi,

Ya, mine was plastic, tat is why it was broken.

Anyway, I am using the toothpick method and it's working fine.

I heard the overseas ADs also give out free straps. No such luck here in Singapore.
