HOw to remove strap for PAm casing with quick release lugs

I have a PAM 164 that comes with the quick release pushers behind the lugs. Today i was trying to remove the straps but pushing the pusher but it wouldnt come off.
Can any bros please teach me how does this quick release work.

A trick I learnt is to use 2 toothpicks to remove the strap. Why toothpicks? becoz it is cheap and will not scratch your case if you slip.

Place your watch on a soft cloth on a flat table. Use one toothpick to press on the quick release pusher, at the same time gently use another toothpick to push the strap pin from the side (nearest to to quick release pusher lug) and the pin should slide out easily removing the strap.
