Every now and then, the oem rubber will be missed and put on for a basic look. Happens to me. For funny reasons, I have put aside all the fanciful straps and put on the oem brown calf on my fiver this week. Nice to go back to basics.

Eventually, all straps look good and attractive when strapped around your Big or Small wrists as mentioned!!

personal preference, is it conservative?

I prefer the strap colour to be close to the dial colour, like my 351 tobaco dial goes well with brown hornback straps.

Black strap for 233 as my choice
