Changing straps for radiomir

Hi all..

Please kindly advise how to change straps for a radiomir? understand that only a 26mm straps can be used..

Seems like only a very small screw-driver can use to unscrew the tiny screws..Please advise where can i get such a small screw-driver ? the standard OP screw-driver seems too big..

You will need a 1.4mm screw driver and steady hands. The first attempt on screw No.1 is the most scary cos you dun know what to expect. After which, the remaining 3 is a piece of cake. Patience is the key! Good luck!

bro even with my steady hands hor sometimes will miss cue! so i tape the screw holes before i unscrew out the small tinny screws out....

Some bros use tape but I am the lazy sort, so I just go really slowwww.

I have 3 tips..

tape it

Tape it

..and tape it again!

and do remember to use a decent 1.4 screwdriver. I'd recommend a Bergeon or something similar

Most have been shared by the nice people here like screwdriver, tape, etc.

Whether you use protection or not, just a few things to note:
1) be very careful about the 4 really tiny screws
2) also the lug connectors

You should avoid the ingredients mentioned by bro LUKE and get yourself a good flat workspace. You really do not want to hunt for your screws or lug connectors in dimmed lighted messy places.

hi, sorry to dig up an old htread, bt does anyone knows if its a must to have tubes inserted in radiomir 26mm strap? cos from what i see, radiomir seems like no need tubes..

If you can dig up an old thread, you should have done a search because there is information here that you want. I think it was posted in the Panerai thread before.
