Bring it to richmont for a check. Have not heard of movement needs time to break in....like new cars?
If watch is new, should not happen. Still under warranty. Could be case of watch is magnetized. richmont should be able to fix it in minutes...unless they suspect it needs servicing which is quite unlikely within first 2-3 years.

Better send in for a check if you think it's not right. Most likely the lubricant has dried up, though it's unlikely if your watch is brand new. The lubricant will normally dry up by the 5th year from it's manufacturing date. However, if you are not so concerned with the additional time, so be it. I had a bad experience when I serviced my Port 5001. Due to this message, it has reminded me of the bad incident and the coming servicing before my watch's expiry date.

Magnetisim also do have an impact on the accurancy. My IWC BP was also running fast when brand new.
Brought in to richemount for a check and got it "tune". How they tune i got no idea.. the case was never open.. maybe they demagnetise it..| Rolex Submariner | IWC Big Pilot 5004 | Panerai 312 | AP Panda |
