Good read from the other website. Post by the moderator-
A few reasons for BNIB sales:
- Buyer thought the price would rise and it didn't, so is selling.
- The seller is trying to establish a buying history with an AD and just selling right away, in the hope that he gets a Special Edition watch, had no plan to keep the watch
- His wife saw the credit card bill.
- Speculation with the exchange rates
- Car engine blew up 3 days after the purchase
- In only a couple of cases/people that I know of are people getting good deals from ADs and passing them on for some savings.
- With the poor economy, I think a number of ADs are selling inventory to the Grey Market. This is probably where the watches come from in the Private Dealers.
Hope this helps.
