This is a sticky topic.

But seriously...
In general there are two schools of thought:
1. Send in every 5 years or so
2. Wait till the watch stops working or becomes significantly inaccurate
I belong to the last group.Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one
Never political, seldom diplomatic, always honest

Just went to Richemont to punch an additional hole on my strap last week. Was attended by the lady on the extreme left. She was friendly and nice:-). The lady on the extreme right was serving a customer at that time. She was very professional and was friendly as well. But the guy brought about 7-8 watches for servicing at one time. So maybe the service rendered to him was different...haha... Then I saw the lady in the center counter coming out from the servicing room behind. I smile at her and said "Hi" since I went to Richemont a couple of times within the last 2 months. She did the same back to me. Wanted to talk to her but the guy next to me was talking non-stop to me about watches....hehe. So no chance to chat with her...haha.
CheersDon't worry, be happy
