One more point which I think is importent to highlight here .My crystal ball tell the later part of the year will bring Boom business to most Watches retailer especially those Pre-own watch shop.Once both IR run in full swing, more $$$$$ won by those lucky god of gambler will just buy buy expensive watches & bring home wif them to escape & hide from custom taxes/restriction in their motherland.

Totally agree. Never think of buying watch to earn money. Earn money from your work and spend it on your hobby (like watch collection). Buy what one likes so value go up or down also not heart pain.

Most new watches (actually all) that I bought to wear all have lower values but I happy can liao.
Someday, I will buy a solif gold Rolex, just so that I can bring to pawnshop type. Pawnshop will not give value for a Pam 201/A or 1A!
Was very tempted by a half gold Rolex but find it too 'beng', even more 'beng' than solid gold Rolex.
