I find option 4 so interesting that I had to vote for it.

I maintain my stand that most watch brands price has dropped from their high, regardless of brand. Of course there are some unique pieces that has not fallen but generally for most models yes...and that includes some SE pieces like PreV/Pre A/A/B/232/249/127/217 etc.

Same as shares, market and shares have fallen 30% (as of April this year) from their high (2007) and now gaining back. That said, it applies for most shares and of course can still find a couple that went against the flow.

Yes, based on transacted price by grey-dealers, common & popular models 0, 5, 111, 112, 176, 177, 219, 233, 270 & 292K have dropped between Oct-08 and mid-09.
But they have started to increase again since mid-09.

No, rare & popular models like 2/156, 3646s, 6152s, 6154, 201s & 301s, 1B-T, 2B-T, 4, 9, 16, 21, 22B-T, 26B-T, 28B-T, 36, 56, 89, 91, 92, 93, 115, 117, 194, 195, 203, 239, 267 & 292J have not dropped during the same period (Oct-08 and mid-09). This is also based on actual transaction price.

Yes, common & not so popular models like 24, 25, 88, 90, 104, 164, 183, 210, 240, 268, 287 & etc are still dropping as of now....

312, 320, 305 & 321 will fall due to speculation cool off.

Meaning, not all models price has dropped....so, you cannot made a generalization like your poll here.

A friend of mine bought a very mint preowned 233 K-series 2 weeks back from a direct seller, undated at $13.3k. This is the lowest price i have come across this year. My guess could be due to the recent market sentiment.
