Which PAM models with tinted glass

Hi All,

new collector to be here like to check with you experienced guys:-
I understand that most Pam models the glass is clear while there are some with the light blue tinted type.
1)Anyone any idea which are the models that have this blue tinting on glass?
2) Would it be such a case whereby for the same model have tinted and non tinted glass due to production year? (eg.XXX Model year 2006 non tinted, same model year 2008 tinted).
3) Any particular reasons why some have tinted some not? eg. only diving models have?
4)any models that have the dark blue tint (just like IWC Big Pilot Type)
5)Any other information provided will be appreciated.

U're referring to the inner AR coating on the crystal I presume?

1. It's pretty wide and varied, probably need to compile a whole database
2. Not really... For luminors, I know that A and B series do not have AR coating, C series AR coating is green, and further down the road, probably E series onwards the AR coating is bluish/purplish, need to confirm that with other Luminor owners. I remember the pam190 I had before didn't seem to have any AR coat. Again, it needs confirmation from owners here.
3. Only Panerai knows
4. Not too sure on this, perhaps other bros/sis might wanna chip in?
5. Just buy what you like, AR coat is no biggie unless u're particular about the colour of the AR coat. Rolex doesn't have any AR coat... bling is king.

From what i know if the series is new the AR should not have any color tint.

If have probably is replica.

Correct me if i m wrong.
