its not actually the conventional sub, its a 2man operated sub by the Italtian navy during WWII for underwater sabotage missions.

The official Italian name for that craft was Siluro a Lenta Corsa (SLC = "Slow-running torpedo"), but the Italian Navy Divers nicknamed it maiale (Italian for "pig"; because it was difficult to steer.

                The Panerai most in demand...

Assuming we don't differentiate between Radiomir and Luminor models. You either like the giant Radiomir crown or the prominent Luminor crown guard. I think the base models like the 000 and 210 are hotly pursued as entry grade targets. Next stage are the titanium models as they are highly resistant to hairline scratches (the bane of all Paneristi esp fpr polished surfaces)! The submersibles are niche models that appeal to some. The extended power reserve models are another target. Then next come the special editions like the Arktos and 1950s series with 47mm cases. Last are the legends destined for auctions like the 203 with Angelus movement, Tourbillion and alarm models. Its hard to tell what's hot and what's not. The discontinued models may acquire cult status eventually. We are in the crusp of an evolution for Panerai not unlike what Rolex went through for the earlier models post World War 2.

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.”
Abraham Lincoln (American 16th US President from1861-65, who brought about the emancipation of slavery from 1809-1865).

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
