Pams with Dates but no more internal Cyclops Lens ?
I noticed that the latest Pam 312 has a date window on the dial but the sapphire glass no longer has the "internal" cyclops lens (magnification window) that usually come on Pams with dates.
This is like the cyclops lens on Rolexes which are found on the "external" surface of the sapphire glass and was introduced in 1954.
Here is classic comparison of a Pam 312 with plain sapphire glass and a Pam 104 with internal cyclops lens :
Can any Paneristi here kindly shed some light on whether OP is doing away with cyclops lens for Pams with dates pls?
