sapphire crystal on pam 505 slight scratch

Hi all!

got my second pam sometime back and just saw a scratch on my pam 505 crystal, not sure how it got there but its really faint but still visible and when i run my fingernail over can feel it

thing is, is it the crystal or the AR coating? i assumed the coating is on the underside ??

Where can i repair or polish this away? Ion pam def will ask me to change whole crystal and say sapphire cannot be polished

Perhaps you may try glass scratch remover. But you need to read up about it suitability especially diamond paste. PLEASE BE AWARE unless you have previous experience using them

i had a long faint scratch on my pam 351, took a leap of faith using cape cod cloth and polish the scratch off, scratch came off and now it looks like brand new for the glass!
