In the initial communication through e-mail, ask for the address of the buyer/seller (even perhaps copy of ID). If you have a buyer who is really interested, meet up in town in a coffeehouse or wherever you have some privacy and only handover the watch when he is handing over the money. But make sure you count the money before handing over the watch.
Do your due diligence, nowadays you can find a lot about ppl on the internet (facebook, linkedin, instagram, twitter etc.)
