One to one exchange? Not bad liao leh. At least they give your a replacement. I would have expected them to send your watch in for a repair. If this is standard Panerai practice then i am quite impressed? I get the impression they move pieces quite quickly? My recently purchase pam is Q series and looking at the accuracy testing "cert" in the booklet, it is dated end of June 2014. Meaning from Panerai to Singapore AD less than 3 months. I have bought other brands that have stocks from 1, or even 2-3 years ago.

Because I asked for exchange since it is less than 1 month of usage.
I called Panerai personally and they say I can ask for exchange but do it via my AD, not their boutique.

Actually getting a P or Q series I would say depend on luck. Some people prefer to get from grey dealer, leaving the AD with older stocks.

that will make sense from business perspective. Just that I m not sure how to find out if its a refurbished set. What I m told is that it is a new set. That's it. Well the box, straps, stickers everything is new. Even the booklet also new and warranty is dated from the collection date, not from the day which i purchase (for my lemon set). Anyway now I am very happy with my 510 and it goes up to 9 1/2 days. Putting it as 8 days is pretty conservative and safe.

For Apple they are practising it and they make it known.
