LUMINOR MARINA 8 DAYS TITANIO - 44MM
Limited Production of 1500pcs (numbers as of now)
Among the numbers of Special Edition Panerai has successfully launched this year, to me (yes my own opinion) the winner is still the newer revamped regular limited production pieces, power packed with their manual winding 8 days power reserved...
With the newer in-house movement, the bettarini casing is slightly simmer/thinner than the current ones using ETA movement...not that much, close to about 1mm, but significant enough to be felt...
And talking to a fellow Risti, he pointed out that the font is the original font used in the vintage preV Panerais...now that's awesome!
And this...this one...could be my next Panerai...(still undecided between the 562 or 564 and the price difference of $500 is making the decision even harder)
I am considering the 564 as my first choice.i want something titanium and prefer 8 days.
Is it true titanium is won't get scratched? Not even hair line?
Any other recommendations?

Definitely not true.
It will scratch like any other metal will. Just that it not that obvious as brushed SS.
I had couple of titanium Pams before, 118 and 25 and often wore it alongside the Paneristi leather band (the way i wore same like the pic of the 564 I took) and after much friction and contact between the titanium case and the leather, it showed fine hairline scratches and became more obvious when its scratched around the same area over and over. If its not a concentrated area of contact, it is less obvious.
Btw, the leather band has untreated edges which means its rough, so no surprise that it can create some hairline scratches on my Pams.
Dont worry about scratches. Titanium is like any other metals and like any other watches. You wear it, it scratches, time for servicing, polished it off and come back as new.
As for the newer 8 days, I wouldn't recommend it any other way. My fav is still 562 and 564 among the lot. There's just something about titanium and tobacco dial that sings to me.
I say go for it.

i guess it will still be less obvious compared to the polished 359 i had.
Surely less obvious than brushed SS what more polished.

That I never tried bro. Haha.
If scratches less obvious...if dings I think, depending on the severity of it, it should show quite obviously.

I don't have pics of the scratches bro. The ones I kept is only some good shots for keepsake.
Maybe some other titanium owners, 351,305,389, etc etc, can share theirs if they wouldnt mind.
