Panerai servicing

Hi all, anyone had any experience with servicing their 233? Mine needs to be serviced. If I were to bring my watch to richemont, is anyone familiar with the pricing there? Alternatively, does anyone know of any other place that can overhaul a 233 well? My hour hand is misaligned and the power reserve no longer hits the end. The watch stops before the indicator reaches 0. Thanks for any assistance.

over time, this lead to a mismatch between the indicator and the mainspring
to resolve this, wind the watch to the max 8days + another 20turns (not to worry, the slip clutch will ensure the mainspring do not damage due to overwinding)
this method is to realign the PR indicator to the mainspring
panerai service center charge $1,000 for overhaul
outside third party service shops usually do not do the p2000 movement
Thanks again.

@Gri13 ... "wind the watch to the max 8days + another 20turns (not to worry, the slip clutch will ensure the mainspring do not damage due to overwinding)"
When it fully powered, you fell the tightness and not so easy to wind. Good to know that's a mechanism to prevent over winding.

The earlier batch does have the power reserved "fang" issue where the fang got stuck and does not reach the end...from what I know , when send in for servicing , Panerai will change the dial of the "Dot" series regardless if there is any issue with it or not.
I am not too sure if there's 3rd party watch repairers who can work with Panerai new in house but Bro Clocking did mentioned that there is a certain watch repairer in Ang Mo Kio who apparently able to work on the newer Panerai in house though I am not sure which specific movement or all the in house movements...maybe he can chime in?
And yes , if you proceed with Richemont , like gri13 mentioned , you are looking at minimum 1k for in house movement and that does not include any parts which need to be changed. Costly? Yes! but the way I look at it , that's the only way to go...
Best of luck. Keep us posted...
Cheers.

To replace one is unnecessary unless its cracked and jeopardized the integrity of the water resistance...
And any parts from Richemont is....Expensive.
Cheers.

There is 2 separate camps on this issue...
1) Owners who sees the need to keep maintaining and to prolong the life of their beloved timepiece , so servicing once every 4/5 years is like sending their love ones for a "medical check up". Every time it's send in , doesn't means there's parts need to be change , more often than not , it's just a normal cleaning and lubricating the movements...
2) The hard core believer of - "If its not broken , why fix it?" Owners will only surrender their timepieces when a servicing is due. Maybe due to the mechanism break down or some faults arises. Until there's any visible problems , no servicing is needed.
Again, there's no correct or wrong answer. Though regular servicing is the "ideal" way to go but first hand experience from owners which can be widely found in the net of their watches running smoothly and keeping really good timing for 20 - 30 years without servicing does makes one wonder which way is the right way...
So you decide...
Cheers.

Hi Bros,
I recently encountered a prob with my Pam.
I was winding it up (prob 50+ winds) and then proceeded to adjust the time.
But when I'm done adjusting the time, I tried to push back the crown, but there is no 'click' sound.
So now, with the crown pushed in, it is still in time-adjustment mode and not in winding mode.
The seconds hand is still moving, but the hour hand does not move, and I cant wind it up anymore.
Is there something wrong with the spring mechanism of the crown or something?
Anyone encountered the same prob?
