give the local panerai boutique a ring... no idea how much, but just to share, i came across someone cracking his pam 384 case and richemont hk quoted hkd 51,000 (roughly sgd8.3k). the 384 is ceramic though.

I heard a bout the exorbitant charges and decided to call ION to check. They said I can only get a exact quote if I brought the damaged watch down for an assessment but replacing the ceramic 1950 casing costs in the region of $5k, much lesser than what HK was charging. I would imagine steel cases to cost less than that.

Sorry to hear that but it must be quite expensive. The factory has to supply a new casing and engrave those serial numbers etc onto it and then perhaps the movement moved onto the new casing

Consider the ding as giving your Pam a bit of character

Hope the ding/dent is on bezel instead on case!

Bezel can be replaced at much cheaper cost...

Oh in that case! Seems like a "small" damage that can be easily remedied since it is on the bezel instead!

Didn't know the bezel is so "cheap". Did a bit of a search online and some were selling at S$500 a piece!

Unfortunately for you, this is going to cost you another panerai watch.
Might as well save the money and buy another brand new.

the replacement cost is $180 for the bezel + $100 for the labour by richemont
btw the dent is right on the edge and is so bad it cannot be polished
Thanks for the info... Glad to hear this. In this case, TS can less worry about the replacing cost.
