which Omega to buy?

I am new to Omega, want to buy a used Omega. aftewr broswing in the forum. prefer the speedmaster series.
Just a bit lost when I see those numbers and spec. a few questions to ask:
1. where can I find the reference to "de-code" the serial number?
2. what is the price range for a used Speedmaster?
2. worth to buy from 2nd hand shop, like HJ watches? seems the price is OK..

Google up internet under search for Omega serial numbers. Should give you an idea of manufacture year. By the way , consider into your budget future servicing cost which will be higher for a Speedmaster since it is a chronograph.

Hi bro, speedmaster I will recommend the new moon watch with chronograph with two horizontal chronograph sub dials and using the latest movement with the si14. I believe now in the 2nd hand market will be available.

Depends. If u want everything in one watch, go for triple calendar. But if u don't intend to use it as a daily beater, it's damn troublesome to adjust it from time to time.
