Thanks Sifu koshiru for your enlightenment. I have changed the swiss battery at Mr Lim shop for 20 bucks super long queue but worth the wait. Watch concept charge me 30 bucks for swiss type battery and 20 bucks for the japanese type. Precious time no more there.

Omega change battery or any Swatch group Brands - estimation $50-$80sgd ( they use Renata mainly )
( sometimes must queue up meaning watch must check in for a few days or weeks with the swatch group repairer)

Normal shops like Precious Time, All watches, etc -$20 to $30 using same Renata battery
But can get it done within 10-20 minutes depending on your watch backcase condition

      So your choice to make

Whenever you get the battery changed, it is very important to also change the rubber gasket and get a water pressure test done. You bought a watch which was 300m water-resist and you want it to remain the same.

I have learned my lesson ..... My experience with my wife 2 pieces of Omega Constellation quartz is to change the battery no more than 20 months apart even though it has not stopped. I once had to change the entire module for one of the watches for about $200+ because it had stopped and leaked but we did not realise it cause the watches were not used regularly. So now I spend about $40 ($20 each watch) every 20 months to get battery replaced.
