how to mantain Omega red box?

does your Omega red box crumble into pieces?
happens to my 1st and 2nd Omega's boxes... i got fed up with the first box and so i threw away cos it crumbled and made a mess :P

Any advice on how to keep it in pristine condition and still looks good?

Its synthetic leather hence easily deteriorate under singapore climate - hot and humid
One way is keep the presentation box in cool dry environment eg in a drybox

Doesn't happen to boxes that use genuine leather

Mine lasted 4 yrs in my cupboard without issues lol. Keep it out of humidity.

Did you add any drying agent together with the box?
Mine ok after 4 years, i add silica gel into the box and wrap with plastic bag.

I applied a thin layer of leather cream and store in in my storeroom. hope is can last .

My box also deteriorated quite badly... Omega such a big brand should provide at least a nice wooden box!

forget it..their boxes don't last at all...

AP and panerai boxes are neatly done
so are rolex boxes
omega and breitling should follow suit

my mum's red omega box..the slim rectangular one is still going strong..purchaed in the early 80s..

just to share my personal experience as mine is put in sealer's bag and then left it untouched in a dry box ... box is still in good condition after ten years and counting ...
