I am all along thinking of buying a pre-owned omega seamaster chrnometer. Today in the afternoon, i went PPC to browse ard and there's 1 shop called GMT something... under Marc Brokerage, it is carrying the model.

I enquired abt it and they cant tell me the age of the watch. Do u think its unprofessional ? I looked at the watch and the design is the same with the current model, although i have to be sure by looking at the new model again.

Lastly, they quoted me $1800. Do u all think its a good price ? Can still bargain down ? The condition is not 100% but looks quite ok.

Plse help me as i am looking to get a seamaster for daily wear. Thanks in advance !
There is always room for bargaining for any price which the person quotes you, anyway they still make a profit wad. Haha...

Depends on you la...try pushing all the way to $1.5k lor...and does it come with full set?

read that a not-fully wound watch will run faster because of the looser spring. Maybe i spend 1 hour shaking my watch .....

they will not proceed with the replacement w/ ur permission, but of coz there will still be a basic fee needed.

Ya.... think that diff is pretty significant... u sld go n check

Tink the service center can quote you the price first before commencing with the service right...

Is this normal ? Do frequent wearing correct the problems ?

Do becareful of vintage SM300. Most of them are fakes esp on the local auction sites. This link may be beneficial to determine real or fake SM300.
