Think you need to bring the watch down personally to the service centre to verify. The ladies at the counter would be able to do it for you free. But i am not sure if its free if you want to verify the movement as well. If the watch is still under warranty, i would suggest that you do a free servicing. But you would need to leave the watch with them for around 2 weeks.

Does the free Omega verification applies to vintage Omega watches as well or have to pay? If pay, anyone knows how much? Cheers n thanks! ;-)

                  Hi there,

I have written to Omega and this is the website whereby you can check the serial number on the case back of the watch.

                  http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/h...c2V1bVBsdXM%3D

Think you must register yourself but if the link above works then you can just follow the instructions.

Do note that the serial number is on the case back and not the set of 8 digits on the movement.

I have tried tracking a serial number and the result is of a different model as that being sold by an eBay seller so I have emailed Swatch Singapore for verification.

They came back to confirm that should the serial number be found in their database but the watch model is different then the watch being sold, it will not be accepted.

                  Hope this helps.

                  Mooooo
