    Hi,

Anyone able to advice how much it would cost to verify an Omega @ their service center at Wheelock?

    Thanks in advance

It's free if they don't open it up, and if they do it's $15

It's free even if they open up, just bring the warranty card.

Just to check: if the warranty is unchopped with dealer stamp and undated, will Omega Singapore accept? Looking at a used set and require advice. Thanks

$15 dollar is expensive! Just DIY with watch kit you can easily buy off the shelf( <$15). Here a non omega pic for yr info.

But if you need verification I guess SWATCH Group is the safest choice as they can verify watch versus the serial and also year of manufacture. I bought a used Seamaster Professional 2541.80.00 last year and brought it there for a quick verification and had the battery changed as ex-owner claimed to not have done so over the last 3 years - total damage $55. Got the watch examined [and at the same time verified], registered under my name and also advised on the next service date. Worth the peace of mind.

Oh and when I sold it early this year the receipt came in handy for the buyer.

Frankly depends on condition and age........ I paid $1.5K for mine and flipped it for $1.65K
IMHO $2K is a bit steep for a 3-4 year old quartz model when a few slightly older ones can be had for $1.3K - $1.6K at the forums.
I mean bro a 2012 automatic omega seamaster 2220.80 can be had for $2.7K at the forum here... so you may want to think twice.

Omega Seamaster Quartz still demands more value compared to many other quartz. It is a very sturdy watch as a daily wear and much suited to the term of "beater watch"
