  • The New "Submariner"

not by Rolex, but by Omega. The watch I'm refering to is the new Seamaster 300m Chronometer, with the latest Co-axial 2500 and ceramic bezel. The reference for the blue dial is 212.30.41.20.03.001.

Its movement and pricing (including servicing cost) are better than Sub, in my opinion. Looks department is great also. With a 3-year warranty, this new Seamaster beats Sub hands down for value.

Ask me 5 years ago, I would definitely choose Sub over SM. I prefer the non-ceramic Sub over the current one. Now, I'm not so sure. In fact, I've placed order it and after discount, it is just below half the retail price of the current Sub.

I just bought my 300m with wave. Before I bought it I did choose in between Sub and Sea as well. But after I wear on the Sea I have no regret to choose it.
