too big for asian wrists. the same reason why i tried (twice) to keep a sumo or why i can't gravitate towards a DSSD.
i feel that 42mm is the biggest i can go, but 40mm is perfect for me. i can also live with 38mm and a minimum of 36mm.
but 45mm...? i don't know. judging from the date window, it's unlikely the new omega can be really slimmed down proportionately.
it's been said the big watch fad will go away but with the way things are going, i'm a little unsure.
maybe 42 is the new 38 and 45 is the new 40.“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

I dropped by the Omega Boutique at Ion Orchard over the weekend. The new PO 42mm stainless steel bracelet (this model: http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/se...23230422101001) is listed with a retail price of S$8,050.
But it's not in yet, and the sales rep said it'd be coming in 'end of the month' (not sure whether she's referring to end of Aug or end of Sep). The usual 5% discount would apply, although she added that Omega would be adjusting their prices up 2-3% on 1 Sep, and this might apply to the retail prices for the new PO.
In a nutshell, the new POs won't be cheap.
