haha ... i didnt. i just want to compare between the different models of day-date vs the professional. i can get 35% (+additional 5% rebate) off which is way more than the AD discount through my gf staff discount

retail price for the brand new SS orange bezel PO 45.5mm is $5550. My AD offer me $4500.....can use credit card with 12mths installment! wonder issit worth to hoot 1? cos add abt 2k can a white explorerII at watch arena liao.....can any1 advise?

The absolute amount you lose is about the same , because you are paying more for the rolex. Say u buy rolex for 6k , sell is 5k. Omega buy is 4.5k , sell off at perhaps 3-3.3k.
The amount nett you lose is about the same , but in percentage terms the rolex kept more of it's value, but you lose the same amount of money.

So buy the watch u like.

no more 42mm with black bezel and dial variant from THG, sincere and cortina when I checked yesterday.
I ended up with the 45.5mm variant. got more than standard discount through my
wife's boss recommendation.
