Good choice lah, not that important if you know that Omega makes great watch but have no good resale value.
As long as you know that you can affrod it and you know that it is destine to be yours to own.
It's like job hunting, BGR and esp. marriage, it's the right person and not the best person.
I started lusting after PO a few years back then, I am glad I bought it from my new boss and friend, at no profit price of less than $4k, from oversea AD.
Enjoy. Remember it's the right watch and not the best watch!

Reason: missing words
My humble beginning:
Ball - Conductor (SE), Rolex - Green Sub LV (Alpha-numeric series), Omega - PO XL & Pam - 351 (M-series)
Dream watch:
It is a tough choice between IWC IW500114 and IW500109.

Nice watch! I am also thinking of getting an Omega watch PO 45 mm. Just wondering where did you get it and how much did you pay for it? Thanks for sharing.
BTW, the other day I saw a ( Brand New ) Omega Planet Ocean Automatic 45mm Black Dial , Orange Bezel , Brushed Steel Bracelet selling at SGD 4,280. Make in 2010, comes with box and card. Is this worthwhile? Please advice.
Which AD did you get it from and what discount (% wise) did you get?
Classic, handsome watch!!

The current Planet Ocean line from Omega is using the 2500 movement, which is actually an ETA movement modified by Omega factory. Some people have encountered problems after using their PO and have to send to the service center within the warrantee period.
If you can wait, you should look forward to the new PO line with the 8500 movement. This movement is currently being used in the Seamaster Aqua Terra line and is very reliable. Much better than the 2500 in the PO.
